Holy Baptism
The Sacrament of Holy Baptism (for infants) is celebrated in St Joseph's Church at 12.15pm on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Sundays of the month. Arrangements should be made with the Clergy via the Parish Office.Telephone: 01252 320956 or click here to e-mail.

First Holy Communion
The Sacrament of Holy Eucharist, or First Holy Communion is celebrated in St Joseph's Church in June. The programme is open to children is school year 3 and above who are practicing Catholics and regularly attend Sunday Mass. The preparation programme runs from September to June on Saturday mornings and also includes the First Sacrament of Reconciliation (First Confession). Confirmation
The Sacrament of Confirmation is celebrated in St John's Cathedral each year by Bishop Philip. The programme runs for two years either side of the Confirmation itself and is open to children aged 13 and above who are practicing Catholics and regularly attend Sunday Mass. RCIA - The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults
Adults who are not members of the Catholic Church and wish to come into Full Communion or adults who have not been baptised and are new to the faith undertake this course in order to prepare for Baptism (if appropriate) and Confirmation and Reception into the Church at the Easter Vigil. Each year we run a Journey of Faith course which starts in September and runs through until Pentecost. Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession)

Sacrament of Holy Orders / Vocations

Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick

Holy Communion of the Sick
Holy Communion is taken to the sick and housebound and to those in hospital by the Clergy and Extra Ordinary Ministers of the Eucharist by arrangement.
