Friday 11th September 
Harvest Festival at St Joseph’s Church

We celebrated Mass at 7 pm in St Joseph's Church followed by a wonderful Harvest Supper of soup, bread and cheese in the hall afterwards. Bridget, Sarah, Mary-Ann and Tony did a superb job running the kitchen and full marks to Chris for a very well run bar!

Thanks to all those who donated packs of toiletries for patients at the local hospitals and hospice, and we will be able to let you know exactly how many soon.

Saturday 12th September 
The Holy Name of Mary at St Mary’s Church

Dominic Williams led a wonderful presentation about his trip to Ghana in summer, which many parishioners kindly sponsored earlier in the year. The talk was really informative and Dominic answered many questions, showed lots of photographs from his trip, plus things he brought back that the locals had made.

Deacon Tony led Devotions to Our Lady and the Rosary before Mass at St Mary's.

Sunday 13th September
24th Sunday of Ordinary Time at St Joseph’s Church

After Sunday Mass we had an 'Internation Meal' in our Parish Hall, everyone brought a dish to share and we had a great selection of food which everyone enjoyed.

Deacon Tony brought our weekend to a close with Benediction.
