CHILDREN IN CHURCH

In Aldershot Catholic Community we make every attempt to make a warm, friendly and safe environment for all children to celebrate Mass. We actively involve our children in the Sunday Mass celebration, through both Children's Liturgy and Children's Masses. Our Children's Liturgy aims to share with the children the teaching of God in a relevant, interesting and fun manner.

Sunday 10.30 am Mass - St Joseph's

For our Sunday Morning Mass we provide Children's Liturgy during school term-time. Children's Liturgy is provided for children in Year 3 (age 7/8) and below.

Once a month we have a Children's Mass which is focused towards children and families and our children take an active role in the Celebration. On these Sunday's there is no Children's Liturgy.

Weekends of the First Holy Communion Programme (FHCP), we only run the Children's Liturgy children in Year One (age 5/6) and below, children in Year Two and above are invited to stay in Mass. Each month one group from the FHCP will take an active role in the Liturgy Celebration.

Saturday 4.45 pm Mass - St Mary's

Unfortunately we are unable to offer Children's Liturgy at this Mass. However, if the number of children increases at this Mass, and there is sufficient demand, we will re-introduce Children's Liturgy in the future.
